About
The Red Lion, Dagnall
Here at The Red Lion Dagnall we offer freshly prepared dishes using locally sourced produce, from curry night to fish Friday as well as our main menu which offers a variety of dishes catering for all tastes, allergens & dietary requirements. Alongside our team of dedicated and friendly staff we try to make your time at The Red Lion a happy and enjoyable experience. During the winter we have two roaring log burners for you to sit and enjoy a Sunday Roast and a whisky by, and in summer families, cyclists & dogs enjoy our newly planted garden. Dogs are, of course, welcome in the bar area of the pub throughout the year! We look forward to seeing you soon.
The Red Lion Pub is situated in Dagnall, a small village just below Whipsnade Zoo and in the middle of the three counties Bucks, Beds and Herts. The area is deemed An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the views speak for themselves. The Pub itself was built in 1740 and has retained many of the original features - only the customers have changed over the years! We aim to retain the feel of an old 'inn' and welcome chatting at the bar and providing a relaxing and friendly atmosphere to locals and visitors.
